The lone bright spot was Midnight, Cardano’s privacy-focused sidechain, which was launched and immediately drew serious demand. Additionally, in other positive news for ADA, interoperability rumors have picked up. Ripple CTO David Schwartz publicly acknowledged Midnight’s design, following earlier comments from Charles Hoskinson suggesting the sidechain could eventually support XRP-related DeFi activity. No partnership is confirmed, but the signaling alone reflects a broader shift toward pragmatic cross-chain alignment across legacy ecosystems. Development keeps rolling forward for Cardano, but besides Midnight, there’s been very little buying momentum for ADA.
