Ethereum is showing early signs of recovery after a dramatic sell-off on Friday that sent prices plunging to $3,450. The drop came amid what analysts describe as the largest liquidation event in crypto market history, wiping out billions in leveraged positions across major exchanges. While bulls briefly lost control during the panic, ETH has since begun to stabilize, with renewed buying interest emerging near key demand zones. Onchain analyst Maartunn highlighted that leverage is once again building up on Ethereum, signaling that traders are returning to the market following the reset. According to his data, open interest on ETH surged significantly over the past 24 hou…

Anglo American (LON: AAL) is edging closer to launching a formal sale process for De Beers after reportedly receiving expressions of interest from several potential buyers, including two former chief executives of the diamond miner. This decision came as part of a corporate overhaul triggered by Anglo’s successful defence against a £39 billion ($49 billion) takeover bid by Australian rival BHP (ASX: BHP). Former De Beers bosses Gareth Penny and Bruce Cleaver are both l…

“Men lie, women lie, but charts and numbers do not lie,” EGRAG CRYPTO stated in a recent post on X, as he highlighted the importance of the Fib 0.5 level in XRP Dominance. According to him, this level has historically served as a major resistance zone. It acted as a key barrier in October 2019 and November 2020, both instances marking the onset of bear markets. In the current cycle, the Fib 0.5 level has once again proven significant, as it has rejected price advances in January and March 2025. The Knocking On The Door Analogy For XRP To drive his point home, EGRAG CRYPTO introduced what he called the “Knocking on the Door” analogy, a simple yet powerful metaphor to expl…

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse predicted that XRP could soon take a chunk of SWIFT’s trading volume. Meanwhile, Circle’s USDC recently launched on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Both developments could provide a huge boost for the XRP price, given the altcoin’s role in the XRPL ecosystem. USDJPY has been range-bound between 142.30 and 146.29 since mid-May, following a five-month downtrend. Volatility within the range has remained elevated, driven by a combination of geopolitical developments and key data releases impacting multiple asset classes. From a geopolitical perspective, the conflict between Iran and Israel shows no clear signs of easing, with headlines emerging by the hour. Despite this, US equity markets have largely shrugged off risk-off sentiment, although they have pulled back from their intraday highs. Tonight, between 19:00 and 20:00 ET, the Bank of Japan will announce its latest rate decision. While no rate hike is expected, markets will b…

Justin Sun is pulling off one of the flashiest crypto comebacks in recent memory. Tron is going public through a reverse merger with Nasdaq-listed SRM Entertainment, and the deal is being steered by a Trump-connected investment bank. If all goes through, the rebranded Tron Inc. might even have Eric Trump sitting on its board. The merger arrives just months after the SEC hit pause on its fraud case against Sun. And while that investigation is still technically open, it’s no longer in the way, making this the perfect moment for a pivot into the public spotlight. Why Now? Because the Legal Heat Cooled Off This kind of timing doesn’t happen by accident. The SEC’s case again…

We last wrote two months ago that Gold would undergo a correction that could set up an accelerated leg higher. Gold has held up very well over the past few months, consolidating in a bullish manner. The consolidation may need to continue for another month or two. The longer it consolidates, the better position Gold will be in to explode to $4000/oz and Silver to explode towards $50. Gold is currently in the third major breakout in its history. In 1972, Gold broke out from over a 100-year-long base in what I have described as the Greatest Breakout of All Time. The second greatest breakout for Gold, specifically, was its breakout in March 2024 out of a 1…

US equity markets roared back to life on Thursday, 26 June, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 leading the charge, climbing 0.9% to notch another fresh all-time intraday and closing high. The S&P 500 rose 0.8% to close at 6,140—just shy of its all-time intraday high of 6,147 set in February. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.9%, and the small-cap Russell 2000 outperformed with a 1.7% surge. Despite ongoing concerns around slowing US economic growth and the approaching 9 July expiration of the White House’s 90-day pause on global reciprocal tariffs (excluding China), investor sentiment remained firmly risk-on. Many fans were shocked to see the Pepe creator’s NFT projects targeted by attackers with deep access to mint functions. The theft wasn’t a one-time hit. The Cardano price performance has been nothing short of shambolic since the start of May, falling from the lofty heights of $0.85 in less than two months. According to data from CoinGecko, the altcoin’s value has declined by more than 24% in the past month. While the price of ADA saw an explosive growth at the beginning of the second quarter, the token is now back where it started in April — just above the $0.5 mark. Interestingly, the signs are pointing to further decline for the Cardano price over the next few weeks. ADA Price Stuck In Descending Channel On Friday, June 27, prominent market analyst Ali Martinez took to the social media platform X to share an ominous p…
