US Consumer Prices came in notably weaker than expected. Specifically, Core CPI, which was anticipated at +0.3% month-over-month, registered +0.1% month-over-month, bringing the year-over-year figure to 2.8%. Headline CPI also showed a softer reading, at 0.1% m/m against a 0.2% expectation. Markets had remained subdued at the beginning of the week in anticipation of this data, which provides further clarity on the Federal Reserve's dual mandate. As a reminder, last week's Non-Farm Payrolls report surprisingly beat expectations, coming in at 139K versus a 130K consensus. The market has reacted positively to this news. Robert Kiyosaki is gearing up for what he calls the Bitcoin “August Curse.” He’s watching price moves around the $90,000 mark. If Bitcoin slides below that level, he plans to double his holdings. He already owns about 73 Bitcoins and wants to reach 100 by the end of the year. Kiyosaki Eyes August Dip According to Kiyosaki, August has a history of sharp dips in Bitcoin’s value. He wrote on X that he hopes for a crash below $90,000 so he can add more coins. He’s not shy about laying out his plan. He’ll buy aggressively if that trigger hits. That kind of resolve comes from a believer who sees each sell-off as a chance to build a bigger stake. At a recent finance event,…

It seems that Crypto Markets are caught in the middle of lunatic flows. Just yesterday, record Bitcoin prices were making headlines, with the rest of the digital asset market following suit. But today, things took a sharp U-turn to the downside — with most altcoins getting rejected harshly after what looked like the start of another euphoric leg higher. Mentioned in yesterday’s article on the crypto initiator, Bitcoin is trading around the $121,000 technical level and may soon test the $120,000 psychological support, a zone that could trigger renewed anxiety among late buyers who chased the highs. The total crypto market cap, which had broken new records by roughly $10…

Log in to today's North American session recap for August 1, 2025. All eyes were on the Non-Farm Payrolls number, with its release sending markets in all-around chaos. You can check our post-release Market check right here. Markets had been trading in paradise territory since the end of the Israel-Iran conflict, leading to a renewed uptrend in global Equity indices. The reasons were more than valid: Earnings have been very strong, sentiment relative to tariffs and their outcomes got uplifted (with the pricing in of many US trade deals) and data kept surprising to the upside. However, there had been some cracks in the past week, with a powerful sell-the-news reactio…

In my previous review, I discussed Morgan Stanley's stance on the prospects of the British pound and noted that, in my opinion, "dollar factors" will be of paramount importance. In other words, the fate of the GBP/USD instrument (as well as, for example, EUR/USD) will largely depend on the American news background, Donald Trump's policies, and the Federal Reserve's monetary policy rather than on the state of the UK economy and its political course. If the dollar falls, then the euro and pound will rise, regardless of the news from the European Union and the UK. It is worth noting that in the first half of 2025, the euro rose significantly despite the European Central Bank…

Log in to today's North American session Market wrap for October 16 US stocks fell on Thursday, adding to a week of unstable trading, as new concerns about the quality of bank loans made investors nervous about the overall health of the financial market. The initial market gains, which were driven by another positive forecast for Artificial Intelligence (AI) demand, quickly disappeared after two regional banks, Zions Bancorp (down 13%) and Western Alliance Bancorp (down 11%), announced they had to write off bad loans. This revived old worries about hidden weaknesses in the banking system, coming shortly after the collapse of auto lender Tricolor Holdings had already force…

Solana adoption is under scrutiny: Cardano SPO Dave argues that bots inflate the network’s transactions per second (tps). But it’s not all doom and gloom. Supporters counter that even after filtering out failed consensus transactions, Solana’s throughput remains impressive. Plus, with more $SOL ETFs entering the market, the network is securing institutional confidence worldwide. For projects like Snorter Token ($SNORT), this is a major boon. The reason is that once its Telegram trading bot launches on Solana, it’ll benefit from a fast, cost-friendly network that’s increasingly attractive to mainstream investors. Now that CRO crypto is a Trump-sponsored coin, what is a good Cronos Crypto price prediction for 2025? CRO price just staged one of its sharpest moves in months, climbing close to +40% in 24-hours and breaking past the $0.20 mark. Apologize. Say sorry to Matt Damon. Matt, if you’re reading this, which I strongly suspect you are (but I would never assume because I respect you), I’ve always believed in you. The fuel came from Trump Media, which disclosed a $1 billion play on Cronos, or 6.31 billion tokens folded into its ecosystem. Here’s where 99Bitcoins analysts believe the CRO price will go by the end of 2025. Spoilers: you haven’t seen anything yet. “This partnership…

Trump Media and Technology Group has rolled out a new feature on its Truth Social platform that ties its digital rewards system to cryptocurrency – will this scheme pay off? According to the company, users who subscribe to the Patriot Package, the paid version of its Truth+ streaming service, will now receive extra benefits, including access to “Truth gems.” These gems can be earned through activities across Trump Media platforms and later converted into Cronos (CRO), the native token of Crypto.com, and the exchange’s wallet infrastructure will handle the conversion process. This move represents a shift in strategy. Earlier this year, Trump Media had floated the idea …

The much-anticipated Cronos Smarturn upgrade went live today, but the excitement was overshadowed by broader market volatility as the CRO price took a deep dive. Following the U.S. Federal Reserve’s 0.25bps rate cut on October 29, the crypto market turned red, with Bitcoin sliding below $110,000 and total market cap dipping about -2%. Historically, markets often correct after FOMC meetings before resuming their trend — and this time was no exception. Still, the broader outlook remains positive, with BTC holding above $105,000. CRO Price Outlook: Consolidation Before Recovery? In the near term, CRO price remains at a critical support zone around $0.143. A rebound fro…

Fundamental Overview Crude oil looked set for a rally into the 70.00 level last week after some key technical breakouts but eventually dropped all the way back to the most recent low around the 61.45 level. The catalysts were the Reuters report saying that OPEC+ was set to hike output at the Sunday’s meeting again, and then the soft US data that threw in some economic slowdown fears. The market positioned bearish into the weekend in a classic “buy the rumour” move. Over the weekend, OPEC+ hiked output by 137K bpd per month and said that adding the remainder of the 1.66 million barrels of cuts will be contingent on “evolving market conditions” and increases could even be …
