According to reports, XRP is trading near $2.78 as markets head toward the year-end, with less than 100 days left until 2026. The token slipped more than 10% in the last week, a pullback that comes after stronger showings earlier this year. Traders and analysts are watching a mix of on-chain signals and community chatter for clues about whether XRP can push into higher price tiers before the calendar flips. Community Predicted Targets Social media has become the loudest forum for price calls. One long-time Bitcoin investor active since 2013, who posts as Pumpius, put a $25 target on XRP before 2026 — a move that would mean over nine-fold gains from current levels. O…

After what seemed like a strong start to September, the Bitcoin price is pretty much back where it began the month. With the historically bullish “Uptober” now in sight, investors are hoping that the premier cryptocurrency will be able to find some relief and perhaps enjoy some upward momentum in the coming weeks. However, the latest on-chain revelation suggests that the Bitcoin price is at risk of further downward pressure over the next few weeks. According to a prominent analyst on social media platform X, the market leader has fallen below a crucial level, which could trigger a further 10% price drawdown. BTC To Enter ‘Correction Process’ In Next 2-3 Months? On-ch…

Friday Trade Review:1H Chart of GBP/USD On Friday, the GBP/USD pair began an upward move, and by Monday night, it had already broken through the local descending trendline. Thus, the bearish trend has been canceled. Recall that over the past week and a half, the pound sterling was caught in a vortex of negative developments, which triggered its decline — a scenario many traders did not expect. However, the global fundamental backdrop for GBP/USD remains unchanged, and therefore, we do not anticipate a further medium-term decline of the British currency. On Friday, the U.S. dollar came under pressure after the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index once again …

A new facet to international financial regulation is crypto passporting. Similar to how European Union (EU) financial services companies can operate across member states under a single license, a US-UK passporting scheme. Crypto companies face significant barriers while expanding internationally. For example – a New York based company trying to expand in London will be impacted by costs and delays. Crypto passporting would allow crypto companies regulated in one country to operate in the other without necessarily undergoing the entire authorization processes. According to Simon Jennings, executive director of the UK Cryptoasset Business Council trade body, “Co-ordinated …

Trade Analysis and Tips for Trading the Japanese Yen The test of 148.05 in the first half of the day occurred when the MACD indicator had already moved well below the zero line, which limited the pair's downward potential. For this reason, I did not sell the dollar. During the U.S. trading session, several important economic releases should be monitored. The U.S. Consumer Confidence Index, data on new jobs, and labor market changes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics are expected. A speech by FOMC member Austan D. Goolsbee is also scheduled. The Bureau of Labor Statistics report will receive the most attention. At the same time, Goolsbee's remarks may spark additional int…

As soon as Wednesday, October 1, the U.S. government and all federal institutions may go on leave. No, this isn't the start of vacation season. This is Donald Trump, once again, failing to reach an agreement with the Democrats — and lacking the political leverage to bypass the opposition. This time, U.S. legislation stands in Trump's way: the law requires 60 votes in the Senate to pass the budget for the next fiscal year. Whether Trump forgot about this or anticipated it and prepared accordingly is unclear. Most likely, it's the latter. Either way, whether he forgot or not doesn't really matter. What matters is the shutdown, which could become the first in the past six ye…

Wisconsin lawmakers have put forward a new bill that could make life a lot easier for people working in crypto. The proposal, called Assembly Bill 471, aims to remove the need for a money transmitter license for certain blockchain-related activities. It’s meant to give a little more freedom to developers, stakers, node operators, and others who help keep crypto networks running behind the scenes. What the Bill Actually Covers This bill would let people accept crypto payments, use self-hosted wallets, or run a node without needing a money transmitter license from the state. It also covers things like creating blockchain software or staking your own crypto. If passed, the …

Traders are lowering their expectations regarding how much the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in the coming months, illustrating how mixed signals from central bank officials are clouding the outlook for monetary policy. In the futures market, the scenario implying just one 25-basis-point rate cut in 2025 and the so-called neutral rate — the optimal rate at which policy neither stimulates nor restrains growth — is now expected to be only partially realized. This stands in sharp contrast with last week, when bets on a 50-basis-point cut by year-end were in demand. A wider range of views on monetary policy expressed by Fed officials in recent days contributed to t…

Perhaps the most interesting aspect for us as traders is the statistical picture. Since the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is also a government agency, all upcoming labor market reports will not be published during the shutdown. As I've mentioned before, I personally doubt this is inevitable, but no one knows for sure at this point. If the Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) report doesn't come out this Friday, the market will find it extremely difficult to assess the condition of the U.S. labor market — especially after five consecutive months of weak numbers. Even more complicated will be the situation for the Federal Reserve, because on what basis will it set monetary policy if it…

The XRP price has often drawn ambitious forecasts, but few as outrageous as a recent prediction placing its potential value at $170,000 per token. This projection not only suggests that XRP could surpass the current price of its primary rival, Ethereum, but even dethrone Bitcoin, which has an ATH above $124,000. The crypto analyst behind this bold claim openly rejects conventional valuation models, arguing that they belong to the “old world” and are incapable of measuring the disruptive potential of blockchain-based assets. Why A $170,000 XRP Price Isn’t “Impossible” XRP long-term price forecasts continue to grow bolder as the market evolves, with the latest prediction b…

The macroeconomic environment, sustained institutional demand, and expectations of a dovish Federal Reserve make the scenario of Bitcoin reaching new all-time highs in Q4 the base case. In any event, the forecast for BTC in Q4 2025 points to confident growth. Despite high volatility, Bitcoin managed to hold onto yesterday's gains, while today the US dollar continues its positive momentum, with the USDX index trading slightly above yesterday's high at 98.47. At the same time, market uncertainty remains elevated, driven by a mix of opposing factors, prompting investors to be cautious — both in buying and selling the dollar. Meanwhile, demand for traditional safe-haven a…

On Tuesday, the EUR/USD currency pair continued trading lower. But why? Why is the U.S. dollar continuing to strengthen when all key factors seem to indicate it should be falling? The macroeconomic and fundamental background is virtually nonexistent, yet for once, the dollar is clearly in demand among traders. To understand what's going on, we need to look back at last week when the U.S. government shutdown began. The ADP employment report missed expectations by a wide margin, and the ISM business activity indices came in weak, showing figures nobody wanted to see. Yet even amid all this, the dollar remained resilient and even advanced on some days. This week, with no maj…

Historically, the Dogecoin price has recorded some of the most legendary rallies in the crypto space. Over the last couple of bull markets, the meme coin seems to have started a trend of outperforming its previous cycle’s performance, notching way more gains than anyone expected. Following this trend, the Dogecoin price is once again approaching a point where it could initiate another rally, and this time around, a crypto analyst predicts that it will reach double-digit values. The Anatomy Of The Historical Breakout Crypto analyst Dima Potts has predicted a possible 37x rally for the Dogecoin price this bull cycle. This forecast is gleaned from the previous cycle perform…

Jupiter, a DeFi aggregator built on Solana, is working with Ethena Labs to roll out its own stablecoin called JupUSD. The launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025, and it is not being treated like a side feature. Jupiter plans to make JupUSD a core part of how its platform works, tying it into everything from swaps and lending to perps trading and beyond. What’s Holding It Together on Day One At launch, JupUSD will be backed entirely by USDtb, a stablecoin that is itself tied to short-term U.S. Treasuries. This gives it a clean, traditional kind of collateral to start with. Later on, Ethena’s other stablecoin, USDe, will be added to the mix. That will int…

Ethereum is trading at critical levels after a period of heightened volatility that has left traders and investors on edge. The price has been swinging between key resistance and support zones, reflecting a market torn between optimism for another leg higher and caution over potential short-term corrections. While sentiment remains divided, on-chain data paints a more confident picture behind the scenes. According to recent reports, large holders and institutions continue to accumulate ETH, reinforcing the idea that the current market uncertainty may be viewed by many as an opportunity rather than a threat. At the same time, staking activity remains consistently strong,…

Log in to today's North American session Market wrap for October 10th After an almost flawless run since June, equity markets finally met their match. Wall Street closed deep in the red as profit-taking and risk aversion swept the board. The Nasdaq plunged 3.5%, marking its sharpest daily decline in months, while the S&P 500 and Dow followed suit. The selloff didn’t spare cryptocurrencies, with Ethereum down roughly 8% since the session opened amid broad liquidation flows. The causes? After President Trump’s comments hinting at new tariffs, a mix of renewed US-China tensions reignited trade war fears. With the U.S. government shutdown extending, metals rallying…

Stock Market Meltdown Triggers Outside Week Key Reversals Stock market live While the average retail investor might view Friday’s (October 10, 2025) U.S. stock market selloff as a classic buy-the-dip opportunity, technical traders may see it very differently. The sharp drop to end the week created outside week key reversal patterns in major indices. A potentially important warning signal after months of relentless gains. What Is an Outside Week Key Reversal? An outside week key reversal is a classic technical analysis pattern that can mark the transition from an existing trend to a possible reversal. It forms when: The current week’s high exceeds the prior week’s h…

Canada’s Capstone Copper (TSX:CS) (ASX:CSC) has struck a deal worth up to $360 million with Orion Resource Partners, granting the private equity firm a 25% stake in the Santo Domingo and Sierra Norte copper projects in Chile. The transaction reduces Capstone’s upfront capital requirements at Santo Domingo and strengthens its ability to fund development and exploration across the Mantoverde–Santo Domingo district in Chile’s Atacama region. Orion will pay $225 million following a positive FID, contribute an additional $75 million within six months, and provide up to $60 million in milestone-based contingent payments. On the hourly chart, the GBP/USD pair on Tuesday rebounded from the 1.3332–1.3357 level and declined toward the 127.2% Fibonacci corrective level at 1.3225. However, in the second half of the day, the pair reversed in favor of the pound and returned to the 1.3332–1.3357 level. A firm move above this zone would support continued growth toward the next 76.4% Fibonacci level at 1.3425. The wave structure still looks "bearish." The most recent upward wave failed to break the previous high, while the last downward wave broke the previous low. The news background in recent weeks has been negative for the U.S. dollar, yet bullish traders have not taken full advantage of these…

The Dogecoin weekly chart structure may be setting up for a classic Elliott Wave “third wave” advance, according to trader and market commentator Cantonese Cat (@cantonmeow), who argued that DOGE has reclaimed a critical Fibonacci level and could be transitioning from corrective price action into a new impulsive leg. Dogecoin Set For Takeoff As Wave 3 Kicks In Sharing a weekly chart, the analyst wrote: “Initially I thought DOGE wave 2 retraced to 0.5 of wave 1, which is valid, but it decided to get to 0.382 which is also possible for a wave 2 retracement. Now it’s reclaiming 0.618 and wave 3 could be starting… and wave 3 is the most bullish and most powerful of them all.…
