Review of Trades and Trading Tips for the European CurrencyA price test at 1.1615 occurred when the MACD indicator had just begun moving downward from the zero line, confirming a correct entry point for selling the euro. As a result, the pair declined toward the target level of 1.1574. Yesterday's comments from U.S. Federal Reserve officials regarding the inadvisability of further monetary easing triggered a strengthening of the U.S. currency and a weakening of the European one. Today, the absence of economic data from the eurozone suggests the possibility of a short-term correction in the euro, but it is unlikely that buyers will be able to recover all of yesterday's los…

On Thursday evening, the new leader of Japan's ruling party, Sanae Takaichi, attempted to reassure markets that she is not aiming for a weaker yen and that the Bank of Japan's policy would remain balanced. However, investors heard something else entirely. Following her remarks, the yen briefly strengthened but then resumed its downward trajectory, hitting new lows. Why did the words of the next prime minister fall flat? Where are the Ministry of Finance's limits of patience, and what does this mean for traders? Let us break it down. When words fall short: markets did not buy Takaichi's message On Thursday night, Sanae Takaichi made her first televised appearance since w…

Gold is trading around 3,985, rebounding after a strong technical correction of more than $100 in less than 24 hours from 4,050 to 3,947. After the initial strong technical correction that occurred yesterday during the American session, gold is rebounding and is now consolidating below the psychological level of $4,000. During the European session, gold attempted to consolidate above $4,000 but failed. We are now seeing a technical correction, so the bearish cycle is likely to resume. We could expect the instrument to reach +1/8 Murray around $3,906 in the coming days. The Eagle indicator is showing a positive signal for the coming hours. Therefore, if the price consolida…

The deal is expected to close in Q1 2026. The Redwood City, California-based company said it has designed a micro modular reactor (MMR) built on light water reactor technology with an operationally efficient 10-year fueling cycle. Dogecoin has plunged violently over the past 24 hours, shedding a large chunk of its value in a brutal correction across the entire crypto market. What looked like a hold above $0.25 turned into a fast breakdown that dragged the Dogecoin price to as low as $0.148 within 24 hours. However, technical analysis from crypto analyst Kaleo shows Dogecoin is ready to hit new all-time highs. In a post on X, he doubled down on a remarkably bullish prediction, stating that $6.90 is a “magnet” for Dogecoin. Dogecoin Chart Tells The Story In his post on the social media platform X, Kaleo noted how members of the crypto community are increasingly waking up to see how primed Dogecoin…

Early in the European session, gold is trading around 4,182, below the uptrend channel formed on September 15 and with a positive bias after a strong rebound above 4,100. In the coming hours, gold could continue its rise and reach the top of the uptrend channel around 4,205 and could even reach the 7/8 Murray around 4,218. If gold falls below the 7/8 Murray and fails to consolidate above this area, we can expect a pullback to reach the 21SMA around 4,080. The instrument could even get the 6/8 Murray at 4,062. Technically, the Eagle indicator has reached the overbought zone, so a strong technical correction is likely in the coming days, and gold could reach the psychologic…

Log in to our mid-week North American Markets overview, where we examine the current themes in North America and provide an overview of indices and currency performances. A strong US dollar and resilient North American equity markets — both on impressive runs since early October — finally met their first major challenge towards the end of last week: the return of US-China trade tensions. The spark came from a Trump Truth Social post last Friday that reignited fears of a new trade war, triggering a sharp risk-off move across markets. China has tightened restrictions on rare earth exports, a move that rattled Washington and recreated what seemed to be a new challeng…

To reach a goal, one must sometimes make sacrifices. France's new Prime Minister, Sebastien Lecornu, concluded that short-term political stability is more important than pushing forward with pension reform. He agreed to postpone raising the retirement age from 62 to 64, effectively protecting himself from a no-confidence vote. As a result, the Socialist Party no longer intends to vote for his removal. The yield spread between French and German bonds plunged, and EUR/USD launched a counterattack. French-German Bond Yield Spread Dynamics Pension reform has long been a cornerstone of Emmanuel Macron's policy agenda. However, the president recognizes that another prime …

XRP may be quietly setting the stage for another major breakout. Recent chart patterns and market behavior show striking similarities to its 2017 accumulation phase, a period that preceded a massive parabolic rally. Q4 Move Still Possible: XRP’s Bullish Potential Isn’t Gone Yet Crypto analyst CoinsKid recently shared an update confirming that the highly anticipated Q4 move for XRP is still a potential option. Automated Trading – What Is Algorithmic Trading? Automated Trading Algorithmic trading, often referred to as “algo trading,” uses computer programs to automatically execute trades based on pre-set rules or mathematical models. These systems can be as simple as a moving average crossover strategy or as complex as AI-powered predictive algorithms reacting to real-time market data. At its core, algo trading removes emotion from the equation by relying on logic, data, and execution speed to make consistent, objective trading decisions. Automated Trading The Core Idea: If–Then Logic Every trading algorithm follows a fundamental structure: If condition X is met, then e…

Cardano price used to have better days in the past, while it currently struggles to stay above $1. Nevertheless, its 2018 and 2021 runs were both impressive, granting investors 50-100x returns. Is there a chance for a third run? Always. How big though – that is a key question. Follow along and find out what technical analysis says. Is $5-8 realistic? With fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $30 billion, total supply of 45 billion tokens and current tokens in circulation of 36 billion, such an increase would mean FDV of $300 bullion. As a top L1 coin, attracting $270 billion, especially if the ETF gets approved, it seems realistic. What do the ADA charts show? DISCOVER:…

Renewed U.S.–China tensions: Escalating sanctions and trade restrictions spark fears of a new wave of economic confrontationChina’s economy under pressure: Weak domestic indicators and limited government stimulus highlight mounting internal challengesGlobal implications: Rising risk of supply chain disruptions, resource shortages, and deeper geopolitical fragmentation In recent weeks, trade tensions between the United States and China have visibly intensified, raising fears of a new wave of economic conflict between the world’s two largest economies. Rhetoric on both sides has become increasingly confrontational, and the growing risk of decoupling and disruptions to su…

Analysis of GBP/USD – 5M Timeframe On Monday, the GBP/USD currency pair remained stagnant throughout the day. There were absolutely no macroeconomic or fundamental events, and, even under such quiet conditions, volatility remained extremely low. Over recent months, volatility has been steadily declining, signaling reduced trader activity—something quite typical during flat market phases. It's worth noting that both the euro and the pound are in a sideways trend on the daily timeframes. Within such a flat range, price movements can be completely unpredictable. This week may bring notable events for both the pound and the dollar, but traders will have to wait. While inf…

Trade Review for Tuesday: 1-Hour Chart of EUR/USD On Tuesday, the EUR/USD pair continued drifting lower slowly and with low volatility. The euro has now declined for three straight days, despite having no fundamental or technical justification. We continue to view nearly any current growth in the U.S. dollar as illogical. Traders should keep in mind the clearly visible range-bound structure on the daily timeframe, which may be the main reason behind the unusual and erratic price movements. On both Monday and Tuesday, there were no noteworthy economic reports or events in either the Eurozone or the United States. As a result, traders had little to react to. The upwar…

Perpetua Resources (NASDAQ, TSX: PPTA) has begun early works construction at its $1.3 billion Stibnite gold-antimony project in central Idaho, fast-tracked by the Trump administration as part of efforts to strengthen the US critical minerals supply chain. The milestone follows the company’s posting of $139 million in financial assurance and confirmation from the US Forest Service (USFS) that all pre-construction conditions have been met. The USFS issued its record of decision in January and granted final federal approval in May. Cherry added that after nine years of permitting, the project would both deliver critical minerals and restore an abandoned mine site. “W…

UK regulators have taken legal action against HTX, the exchange linked to Justin Sun, marking a major step in the country’s effort to police unlawful crypto promotions. As per the Reuters report, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) filed a civil lawsuit on Wednesday, October 22, in London’s High Court against HTX, previously known as Huobi. The regulator claims the exchange promoted crypto services to UK consumers without proper authorization. The case also names four unidentified individuals associated with HTX’s operations and marketing activities. The FCA stated that the action is part of its effort to protect consumers and maintain trust in the country’s financ…

The UK inflation data put pressure on the British pound. The GBP/USD pair fell to the lower end of the 1.33 handle, briefly updating a weekly price low in response to the negative release. Nearly all components fell short of forecasts, pointing to softening price pressures. This outcome has increased market expectations that the Bank of England may cut interest rates by 25 basis points at its next meeting in November—or at the very least hint at such a move in December. Specifically, the September headline Consumer Price Index (CPI) came in flat month-over-month, while analysts had expected a modest 0.1% increase. On a year-over-year basis, CPI remained at 3.8% for the …

As Bitcoin (BTC) continues to trade in the high $100,000 range following the October 9 crypto market crash, some bullish signs are starting to emerge. Notably, stablecoin reserves on leading crypto exchanges like Binance are entering all-time high (ATH) territory, hinting at a potential rally for BTC. Wednesday's Trade Recap: 1H EUR/USD Chart On Wednesday, the EUR/USD pair demonstrated minimal volatility—something traders have grown used to in recent weeks. The U.S. dollar once again attempted to strengthen for no apparent reason, even though there were no important economic events or reports in either the EU or the U.S. At the time of writing, traders failed to secure a break below the 1.1584 level, though the nature of current price action suggests this level may eventually give way. As such, we continue to observe dollar appreciation that contradicts both the global fundamental picture and even the short-term technical setup. It's worth noting that nearly all …

According to comments from the creator of the stock-to-flow model, the familiar four-year cycle tied to Bitcoin halvings may no longer be a sure guide for traders. The analyst — known as PlanB — warned that using just three past cycles to predict future tops is risky, and he said the next peak is not guaranteed to fall 18 months after the last halving in October. Cycle Timing May Vary Widely PlanB told followers that the top could arrive in 2026, or 2027, or even 2028, and that he is more focused on Bitcoin’s average price level than on a single high or low. Reports have disclosed that some market participants believe $126,000 was the peak and expect BTC to slide belo…

Asia Market Wrap - Asian Stocks Retreat Asian stock markets fell for the second day in a row on Thursday, following Wall Street's selloff. This decline was driven by disappointing earnings from major US tech companies and growing geopolitical concerns over new US sanctions against Russia and potential new export controls targeting China. The broader Asia-Pacific index fell 0.4%, while Japan's Nikkei index dropped 1.5%. Chinese stocks fell as much as 1.1% on news that the White House might curb a wide range of software-linked exports to retaliate against Beijing's rare earth restrictions. South Korean stocks also declined, particularly for tech hardware makers, even as …

In one of the most striking moments of this cycle, gold has lost trillions in market capitalization, a drawdown larger than the entire value of Bitcoin itself. The metal that once symbolized stability is now showing cracks, while BTC, the asset branded as volatile, has remained remarkably resilient. What It Means For Bitcoin Next Market Cycle For decades, gold has been hailed as the ultimate safe-haven, and it has been rock-solid. However, a seasoned financial analyst, Tom Tucker, has revealed on X that Gold, the world’s oldest store of value, has lost $2.5 trillion in market value, which is more than the entire Bitcoin market capitalization. Meanwhile, the crypto Fea…
