The Bitcoin price has experienced a notable decline of 6% from its all-time highs, leading to significant liquidation events that approached $200 million on Friday, while sparking renewed speculation about the cryptocurrency’s future trajectory. Analysts from The Bull Theory attribute the current slump to geopolitical developments, specifically President Donald Trump’s announcement of substantial tariffs and export controls on Chinese goods, particularly affecting key industrial and strategic materials. How Tariff Risks Are Impacting The Bitcoin Price The implications of these tariffs, according to the analysts, are multifaceted, introducing risks that could disrupt su…

Asia Market Wrap - Choppy Trading Dominates Most Read: Trade Setup to Watch: EUR/USD Breaks Ascending Trendline, Further Downside Ahead? Asian stock markets dropped sharply on Monday as renewed tensions in the US-China trade war worried investors, although there were early signs the fear was easing. The trade conflict escalated when the US and China exchanged fresh threats over the weekend, causing a widespread "risk-off" mood. However, US President Donald Trump later struck a more reassuring tone, suggesting things would "be fine" and that the US did not want to "hurt" China. Meanwhile, Beijing defended its restrictions on exports of rare earth materials as a response…

Trade Review and Tips for Trading the British PoundThe test of the 1.3315 level occurred when the MACD indicator had already dropped significantly below the zero line, limiting the pair's downside potential. Attempts by the United States and China to stabilize rapidly deteriorating trade relations have yet to succeed, negatively affecting risk-sensitive assets, including the British pound. The uncertainty surrounding the potential escalation of the trade war continues to raise investor fears about the prospects of global economic growth, putting pressure on currencies closely tied to global market sentiment. The British pound is also affected by internal factors, includin…

Yesterday, the European currency continued to strengthen against the U.S. dollar. Traders are now focusing primarily on the divergence between the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve's policy paths: the former has no plans to change its stance anytime soon, while the American regulator, on the contrary, intends to actively cut rates by the end of the year. Yesterday, European Central Bank Governing Council member Joachim Nagel stated that there are currently no grounds for changing interest rates and warned that certain components of inflation require ongoing attention. Although it is still too early to say what will happen with borrowing costs in the coming mon…

Silver prices continue to soar to unprecedented highs with questions being asked about the reason for the rally. Well in all honesty there have been a host of reasons cited as a driving force, all of them may be true to some degree. The most popular ones which have been discussed at length include rate cut expectations from the Federal Reserve, the ongoing supply/demand deficit in physical silver, and of course the price of silver being cheap in comparison to Gold. One of the reasons which has really come to the fore recently is the shortage of physical silver which has led to a big premium for physical silver as well. Recent, widely reported incidents have exposed so…

The U.S. dollar continues to lose ground against a range of risk-sensitive assets, and this comes as no surprise. Yesterday, Federal Reserve officials once again delivered coordinated messages, preparing the market for upcoming interest rate cuts. It's clear that lowering rates would be a logical step in response to slowing global growth and persistent uncertainty surrounding international trade relations among major powers. The Fed's goal is to stimulate investment, boost consumer demand, and support the U.S. labor market. Further growth of the euro remains in question as markets await eurozone inflation data. Economists expect a modest increase in consumer prices. If in…

Log in to today's North American session Market wrap for October 17 US stocks finished a nervous week on a high note, gaining ground as President Donald Trump's comments suggested trade tensions with China were easing and regional bank stocks bounced back. The S&P 500 index saw its best weekly gain since August after Trump said he was optimistic about reaching a deal with Chinese President Xi Jinping at their upcoming meeting, calming fears of an escalating trade war. This positive sentiment was boosted by a rebound in regional bank stocks, which had plunged earlier in the week due to loan quality fears. Both Zions Bancorp and Western Alliance Bancorp, the banks at th…

BNB has been one of the strongest performers in recent weeks, standing out even as the broader crypto market struggles to find stability. During this market downturn, key metrics continue to validate BNB’s sustained momentum and network expansion. According to data shared by analyst CryptoOnchain, the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) reached a historic milestone on October 13th, recording 3.62 million daily active addresses — the highest in its history. This surge in on-chain activity comes after months of steady price appreciation that began in June and accelerated rapidly after mid-September. The timing is notable: the spike in active addresses closely followed BNB’s price peak …

At times, it feels as though Donald Trump is acting like a foreign agent with one objective—to accelerate the collapse of the United States from within. Of course, such a claim sounds absurd, given that Trump is an American citizen and owns numerous businesses across the country. But then one is left to conclude only one thing: Trump truly sees himself as the King of the United States and believes he can rule the nation unilaterally—rendering irrelevant the democratic norms that once defined American governance. American democracy, many now argue, died with Trump's second term. The Democratic Party suffered a resounding loss in the last election and no longer controls eit…

The upcoming U.K. economic data will be relatively scarce, but one report in particular could lend significant support to the British pound. On Wednesday, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for September will be published. As highlighted in recent commentary, inflation in the U.K. has been running nearly double the Bank of England's (BoE) target for some time now—and next week it could officially surpass that benchmark twofold. Annual CPI is expected to rise by another 0.2%, reaching 4.0% year-over-year. Core inflation may increase to 3.7%. This single report could lead the BoE to abandon any remaining plans for a rate cut before year-end. Though some economists still expect …

The wave pattern for GBP/USD continues to indicate the formation of an upward wave structure (see second chart), but over the past few weeks, it has become more complex and ambiguous (see first chart). The pound has declined too sharply, so the trend segment that began on August 1 now looks uncertain. The first idea that comes to mind is the complication of the presumed wave 4, which is taking a three-wave form, with each of its sub-waves also consisting of three smaller waves. In that case, a decline toward the 1.31 and 1.30 levels could be expected. However, the downward wave structure that began on September 17 has already taken a three-wave form. From here, two scenar…

Monday Trade Review: 1-Hour Chart of EUR/USD On Monday, the EUR/USD currency pair posted 37 pips of volatility. In short, there is little to analyze from the previous session. There were no significant or even mildly interesting macroeconomic or fundamental events throughout the day. As such, price movement was also limited. The uptrend on the 1-hour timeframe remains intact after breaking through another descending trendline, but once again, we observe a lack of enthusiasm from traders to buy the euro or take any decisive action. This suggests that while the upward movement may continue, it is likely to be extremely sluggish. On the daily timeframe, price remains l…

The past week brought a wealth of macroeconomic data from the United Kingdom, which, at first glance, seemed supportive of a renewed rally in the pound. The labor market report revealed some signs of weakness, particularly a slower pace of job creation compared to the previous month. However, the fact that wage growth remains stubbornly high is a strong inflationary factor. Elevated inflation, in turn, signals that the Bank of England will not be in a hurry to cut interest rates, allowing UK yields to remain relatively attractive. August GDP figures met expectations, and industrial production outperformed forecasts. Still, the third quarter outlook from the National Insti…

In financial markets, everything is accounted for—even when data is scarce, investors turn to leading corporate earnings as signals. In this context, the optimistic outlooks shared by General Electric, Philip Morris, and Coca-Cola speak louder than recent U.S. labor market concerns. For these manufacturers, the glass is half full, casting doubt on the likelihood of aggressive Fed rate cuts and lending support to EUR/USD bears. Many are citing France's S&P Global rating downgrade and the looming budget battle between Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu and the French parliament as the primary reasons for the euro's weakness. However, the CAC 40 index reaching a record hig…

Most Read: Tesla (TSLA) Q3 2025 Earnings Preview: Why Record Deliveries Still Mean a Profit Margin Squeeze GBP/USD has fallen around 60 pips since the UK inflation data release this morning. This could be down to the fact that traders added to BoE easing bets, seeing 17bps of cuts by December. The inflation print has brought a December rate cut into play once more as the print comes after wage growth also showed signs of a slowdown last week. However, the BoE decision in December may now rest with the outcome of the UK Autumn budget due in November. UK Inflation Data Opens Door to December Rate Cut The most significant takeaway from the latest UK inflation data is the …

This follows an experimental legal regime introduced in September, which tested crypto use for cross-border settlements.
