All the most interesting events are behind us. To briefly recap, all three central bank meetings have taken place, significant ISM indices were released in the U.S. last week (along with a lone ADP labor market report), and American inflation figures were published (albeit with considerable delay). Additionally, the Nonfarm Payrolls report and unemployment rate have been missed for the second consecutive month due to the "shutdown." Undoubtedly, there are also important indicators in the Eurozone, but in my opinion, the market, which has ignored significant news for over a month, is not eagerly awaiting European reports to react to them. What should we pay attention to? T…

The American currency has been rising in value for over a month, but confidence in its stable future has waned. After the last five weeks, it remains extremely difficult to pinpoint why the demand for the U.S. dollar has been slowly but steadily growing. However, wave analysis can partially answer this question. Both instruments have seen the construction of corrective wave sets, within which the dollar's strength occurred. Currently, the likelihood of these trend segments reaching completion is high, suggesting that the market may return to its usual activity—selling the American currency. Given that many recent news items have either been ignored by the market or interp…

Bitcoin price is attempting to recover above $103,500. BTC could continue to move up if it clears the $106,500 resistance zone. Bitcoin started a decent recovery wave above the $103,500 support. The price is trading above $104,500 and the 100 hourly Simple moving average. There was a break above a key bearish trend line with resistance at $102,000 on the hourly chart of the BTC/USD pair (data feed from Kraken). The pair might continue to move up if it clears the $106,500 zone. Bitcoin Price Recovers 3% Bitcoin price managed to stay above the $101,000 support level and started a recovery wave. The EUR/USD currency pair traded on Friday with very low volatility once again. Over the past few months, the average volatility has dropped to 53-60 pips per day, down from 75-90 pips during the summer. However, the decline in volatility should come as no surprise, as a flat trend has persisted on the daily timeframe for several months. Typically, a flat trend is characterized by low volatility and illogical movements within a sideways range, which is precisely what we are observing now. In the short term, nearly every movement of the pair since at least October cannot be explained logically. However, in the medium term, we see a flat trend, and explanations for such mov…

The GBP/USD currency pair showed a fairly good rise on Friday, allowing it to settle above the moving average line on the 4-hour timeframe. It should be noted (as seen in the illustration above) that the pair has broken above the moving average before, but in the previous two cases, the expected and logical growth did not commence. Concurrently, the CCI indicator has consistently been showing "bullish" divergence or entering the oversold area on a weekly basis. There are no fundamental or macroeconomic reasons for the pair to decline; however, the U.S. dollar has stubbornly risen for almost a month and a half against all odds. The flat trend on the daily timeframe no long…

The U.S. dollar continued to lose ground actively on Friday, and there was a certain reason for this. A sharp decline in the University of Michigan consumer sentiment index led to a similar drop in the U.S. dollar against the euro. Traders interpreted this as a signal of a potential slowdown in U.S. economic growth, which, in turn, reduced the dollar's appeal as a safe asset. This was especially evident in the EUR/USD and GBP/USD pairs, where the euro and the pound strengthened by breaking key resistance levels. Immediately after the data was released, discussions arose regarding further monetary measures from the U.S. Federal Reserve. The market believes that amid deteri…

The major MSCI Asia Pacific Index gained almost 1%, with twice as many stocks rising as falling. Japan's Nikkei stock average also climbed more than 1% on Monday, following the positive feeling from US stock futures because traders hoped the US shutdown …

The brutal killing of Roman Novak, a Russian crypto millionaire, and his wife, Anna, has shocked both the crypto and international business communities. The crypto story of Roman Novak is one of wealth, deception, and revenge, a chilling reminder of how greed and betrayal can turn fatal in the world of digital fortunes. Who Was Roman Novak? Crypto trader the White Whale, who had offered to serve as an advisor to crypto exchange MEXC, has retracted his offer. This came as he highlighted a ‘structural rot’ within the exchange, which puts customers at risk of losing their coins. Crypto Advisor Exposes ‘Structural Rot’ Within MEXC In an X post, the White Whale described the fake proof of reserves, arbitrary justifications for seizures, the lack of due process, and the ability to block users from their own records as the structural rot within the crypto exchange. He further remarked that MEXC remains a “rotten apple” as long as this structural rot exists. The White Whale revealed that he has withdrawn his of…

As a result of last Friday, stock indices closed mixed. The S&P 500 increased by 0.13%, while the Nasdaq 100 fell by 0.21%. The industrial Dow Jones strengthened by 0.16%. The indices rose while Treasury bonds declined, as hopes for an agreement to end the longest government shutdown in US history boosted sentiment after a week of instability during which investors grappled with concerns over high valuations in the AI sector. Investors reacted with relief to news of progress in the negotiations, believing that the resumption of government operations would help avoid negative economic impacts that could exacerbate recession risks. Optimism over the prospect of stabil…

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies are showing promising growth potential amid renewed optimism stemming from news that the US government shutdown may come to an end soon. Traders are likely viewing the potential conclusion of the shutdown as a sign of stabilization, albeit temporary, which reduces risks for the US economy. Additionally, the prolonged uncertainty has caused many investors to be more cautious in their purchases and accumulation of risk assets, particularly cryptocurrencies. Reports emerged yesterday that US senators reached a bipartisan agreement on funding, marking the first step toward ending the 40-day government shutdown. On Sunday evenin…

Although the EUR/GBP pair has been correcting for the fourth consecutive day and remains at low levels, its decline may be limited, as the euro is supported by continued cautious sentiment regarding the future course of the European Central Bank's (ECB) policy. The ECB is expected to maintain current interest rates unchanged in the near term, as markets now assess the probability of a rate cut by September 2026 at only 45%, significantly lower than 80% in October. Today, Monday, ECB Vice President Luis de Guindos stated that there is no need to adjust current rates unless inflation trends or forecasts change. He noted that the services sector and wages are moving in the r…

A Manhattan jury has deadlocked in a closely watched federal case over whether an alleged MEV exploit on Ethereum amounts to criminal fraud. On November 7, a New York federal judge declared a mistrial after jurors failed to reach a unanimous decision on the fate of brothers Anton and James Peraire-Bueno. According to the Reuters report, Prosecutors say the MIT-educated pair pulled roughly $25M in cryptocurrency from the network in a 12-second on-chain transaction. What Led Judge Jessica Clarke to Dismiss the Jury? The trial ran for several weeks, focusing on how Ethereum blocks are built and whether the brothers’ actions constituted sharp trading or a scheme that cros…

The only event on Monday was the first step toward establishing a temporary truce between Democrats and Republicans aimed at ending the record U.S. "shutdown." This lengthy phrasing describes what transpired on the first day of the week. Many market participants were quick to celebrate this event, but it is not entirely clear what they now expect from the dollar. If they expect a new increase in value, how can they explain its strengthening over the past month and a half? Will the dollar rise on the "shutdown," and then again on the completion of the "shutdown"? However, as more information emerged from open sources, it became clearer that the end of the temporary governm…

Trade Analysis for Monday: 1H Chart of the EUR/USD Pair The EUR/USD currency pair traded mostly sideways on Monday and failed to break past the important level of 1.1584. In principle, not much was expected from Monday. The macroeconomic background was completely absent in all the countries of interest, and Donald Trump's morning promises to soon end the "shutdown" did not catch anyone's interest. The market did not experience euphoria over the conclusion of the "shutdown," just as it had ignored the "shutdown" for a month and a half. Recall that over the past month and a half, the U.S. currency had been rising moderately, which contradicted the fundamental backdrop…

Trade Analysis and Tips for Trading the Japanese YenThe test of the 154.00 price coincided with the MACD indicator moving significantly below the zero mark, which limited the pair's downside potential. For this reason, I did not sell the dollar. The dollar rose against the yen after the U.S. Senate approved a bill to end the shutdown. This reaction, while moderate, reflects the market's overall fatigue with political uncertainty in the U.S. Weeks of the shutdown, with its consequences for the economy and investor sentiment, have eroded confidence in the American currency. Therefore, the news of a potential resolution to the crisis, although preliminary, was received posit…

Asia Market Wrap - Tech Stocks Falter as China Eyes Rare Earth Curbs Again Most Read: Why the end of the US shutdown sparks a huge rally in Stocks The positive momentum in global stock markets, which had been boosted by the hopeful news of a deal to end the US government shutdown, fizzled out in Asian trading. This change was caused by reports that China plans to restrict its exports of rare earth minerals to the US, which brought back worries about trade tensions. The main index for Asia-Pacific stocks (MSCI) first went up but then reversed its direction, dropping by 0.3%, with Chinese markets falling the most. China's main stock benchmark dropped 0.9%. Japan's Nikkei…

During the last Solana boom, driven primarily by meme coins on Pump.fun, many thought SOL USDT would have already breached $500 and possibly even $1,000 by now. With less than two months to go before 2025 comes to an end, Solana price prediction models point to weakening bulls. From the SOL USDT candlestick arrangement in the daily chart, it is clear that the upside momentum is waning, and buyers are struggling to maintain the uptrend. In the short term, key levels to watch out for are $150 and $200. Market Cap 24h 7d 30d 1y All Time As it stands, Solana…

According to the latest news, the record 41-day government shutdown in the US is expected to come to an end tomorrow after the Senate passed a temporary funding measure backed by a group of eight Democrats. The Senate vote on Monday occurred against a backdrop of growing disruptions in air travel, delays in food assistance, and dissatisfaction among federal employees, most of whom have been without pay for over a month. The bill will now go to the House of Representatives, and if approved there, it will be sent to President Trump, who is expected to sign it immediately, restoring funding for federal agencies. This temporary solution gives a reprieve to hundreds of thou…
