Polkadot’s price action is beginning to hint at a possible shift in momentum, with a reversal setup forming just below the critical $2.85 level. The bulls are gradually building pressure, eyeing a breakout that could confirm a change in trend. Still, the presence of strong resistance overhead means the coming sessions will be crucial in determining whether DOT can break free or face another rejection. DOT’s Downtrend Shows Signs Of Exhaustion As Buyers Eye A Short-Term Recovery Giving a follow-up on the expected path of DOT in the 4-hour timeframe, Elliott Waves Academy revealed that the series of declines through the sub-waves of the recent impulsive move may be nearing…

Glassnode has explained how the Bitcoin options Open Interest has been climbing recently and looks set to explore new all-time highs (ATHs). Bitcoin Options Open Interest Has Already Bounced Back From Oct Expiry In a new thread on X, analytics firm Glassnode has discussed about the Bitcoin options market. This segment of derivatives trading involves traders betting on future price moves through contracts giving the right (but not the obligation) to sell or buy the cryptocurrency at a set price. Earlier, perpetual futures was the main derivatives trading pathway that investors in the sector used, but recently, demand for options has grown enough to challenge the futures…

Bitcoin (BTC) recently bounced from the $100,000 level, sparking hopes of a bullish reversal. However, traders remain cautious, as this rebound could also be a temporary bull trap. With key resistance looming around $105,000–$106,000, the market’s next move will be critical in determining whether BTC can sustain an upward trend or resume its downtrend. A Possible Bullish Reversal After Reclaiming $102,000 According to Lennaert Snyder, Bitcoin is showing early signs of a potential bullish reversal. In the post on X, Snyder highlighted that BTC bounced from the recent lows and reclaimed the $102,000 level, signaling renewed buying interest. This recovery comes after a peri…

Reports from the Ripple Swell 2025 conference show growing interest in XRP. Traders and fund managers are watching November closely. According to speakers at the event, several timetabled moves could push more money into the token in the short term. Canary Capital ETF Timetable Canary Capital’s spot ETF is set to go live after an updated S-1 filing, with a possible automatic launch 20 days later on November 13. Reports from the stage cited Steven McClurg, CEO of Canary Capital, as confirming the update. That filing removed an amendment clause that would have given the SEC greater control over the product’s effective date. Based on reports, the timeline could still sh…

Bitcoin’s price has struggled to maintain stability above $102,000 in recent days, and data shows this is due to an apparent imbalance between selling pressure and fresh demand. On-chain data from CryptoQuant reveals that while long-term holders have been actively taking profits, the market is showing limited capacity to absorb their sell-offs. This is a contrast to previous phases of the bull run, where rising demand was able to offset increased long-term holder activity. Rising Long-Term Holder Selling Pressure Mirrors Past Bull Cycles Data from on-chain analytics platform CryptoQuant, which was initially shared by Julio Moreno, head of research at CryptoQuant, sho…

China has lifted a nearly year-long ban on exports of gallium, germanium and antimony to the US, in a further de-escalation of trade tensions between the world’s two largest economies. In a statement issued on Sunday, China’s commerce ministry said it will pause its export ban on these minerals and related end-use items for about one year. The ban was first imposed in December 2024 in retaliation for US export controls on high-bandwidth memory chips into China towards the end of the Biden administration. The US considers all three minerals to be critical to its national security and economy. Gallium and germanium are both essential for semiconductors, with the for…

The price of Bitcoin has struggled so far in the month of November, briefly falling below the psychological $100,000 level twice already. Although the flagship cryptocurrency appears to be in a state of calm this weekend, a recent on-chain evaluation shows the possibility of more price corrections in the short term. Bitcoin Risk-Adjusted Returns See Growing Downturn In a Quicktake post on the CryptoQuant platform, data analytics platform Arab Chain revealed that there seems to be a growing amount of risks for Bitcoin market participants on Binance. This on-chain observation revolves around the Bitcoin Sharpe Signal metric on Binance, which tracks the efficiency of the re…

The economic calendar for the week does not include any major events for the EUR/USD pair. The ZEW indices, which will be published on Tuesday (November 11), are of some interest. All other scheduled releases are of not even secondary, but tertiary importance. Therefore, the market's attention will be focused on other fundamental factors, such as the rhetoric of Federal Reserve representatives. Several members of the U.S. central bank will speak throughout the week. The ongoing shutdown, which has already become the longest in U.S. history, remains in the spotlight. Towards the end of Friday's trading, sellers of EUR/USD recovered some lost positions amid a strength…

Analysis of GBP/USD on 5-Minute Timeframe The GBP/USD currency pair continued its upward movement for almost the entire day on Friday, with no significant local factors driving it. It should be noted that for the past month and a half, the British currency has only been falling, which completely contradicts, at least, the global fundamental background. However, a flat trend has developed on the daily timeframe for both the euro and the pound sterling. Thus, from a technical perspective, the pound's one-and-a-half-month decline can be explained. The GBP/USD pair has now even gone below the lower line of the sideways channel on the daily chart, but it is important to re…

The GBP/USD currency pair showed a fairly good rise on Friday, allowing it to settle above the moving average line on the 4-hour timeframe. It should be noted (as seen in the illustration above) that the pair has broken above the moving average before, but in the previous two cases, the expected and logical growth did not commence. Concurrently, the CCI indicator has consistently been showing "bullish" divergence or entering the oversold area on a weekly basis. There are no fundamental or macroeconomic reasons for the pair to decline; however, the U.S. dollar has stubbornly risen for almost a month and a half against all odds. The flat trend on the daily timeframe no long…

Friday's Trade Analysis: 1-Hour Chart of EUR/USD The EUR/USD currency pair continued its upward movement on Friday. The first thought that comes to mind is that the dollar has run out of steam. Over the past month and a half, the U.S. currency did not have strong reasons to keep rising continuously. We cannot say the dollar has excessively increased, and the daily timeframe shows this is not the case. However, it did rise at a time when its decline would have raised no questions. The market has ignored everything over the past month and a half: the dovish stance of the Federal Reserve, the U.S. shutdown (which began on October 1 and is still ongoing), Donald Trump's…

So far in history, the Dogecoin price has seen two major price rallies that have led the meme coin to reach brand new all-time highs. Given this trend, the expectations are that the cryptocurrency could be getting ready for another rally like the last two bear markets. Even though the year 2025 is about to come to an end and there has been no such rally in sight, it has not dimmed bullishness among investors. Analyst Predicts 3rd Wave For Dogecoin Price Pseudonymous crypto analyst EtherNaysyonal shared an analysis with the Dogecoin community that shows where they expect the DOGE price to be headed next. This analysis focuses on the sudden explosive bull runs that have ha…

Asia Market Wrap - Nikkei Up 1.2% Most Read: Markets Weekly Outlook – Traders get impatient for the US shutdown to end Stock prices went up and government bonds (Treasuries) went down because people felt hopeful about a possible deal to end the longest US government shutdown. This good feeling came after a chaotic week where investors worried about whether Artificial Intelligence (AI) company stocks were too expensive. The major MSCI Asia Pacific Index gained almost 1%, with twice as many stocks rising as falling. Japan's Nikkei stock average also climbed more than 1% on Monday, following the positive feeling from US stock futures because traders hoped the US shutdown …

As a result of last Friday, stock indices closed mixed. The S&P 500 increased by 0.13%, while the Nasdaq 100 fell by 0.21%. The industrial Dow Jones strengthened by 0.16%. The indices rose while Treasury bonds declined, as hopes for an agreement to end the longest government shutdown in US history boosted sentiment after a week of instability during which investors grappled with concerns over high valuations in the AI sector. Investors reacted with relief to news of progress in the negotiations, believing that the resumption of government operations would help avoid negative economic impacts that could exacerbate recession risks. Optimism over the prospect of stabil…

The Bank of England’s Stablecoin regulatory framework for so-called systemic stablecoins was released today (November 10) in a consultation paper outlining its proposal. There has been instant debate across Crypto Twitter over the exact remit of these so-called ‘systemic stablecoins’, which many have highlighted as intentionally vaguely worded – with the press release itself only referencing ‘UK stablecoins’. One interpretation would see the term ‘systemic stablecoins’ as any listed for use on UK financial products such as exchanges, custodians, and DeFi protocols, or any stablecoin used in the payment of goods, services, or income to UK citizens. The second interpreta…

Bitcoin is trading around $105,942, encountering strong resistance around the 2/8 Murray level. Should the bullish momentum prevail, we could expect Bitcoin to reach $109,091 around the 200 EMA and potentially even reach the 3/8 Murray level around $109,375. Should Bitcoin pull back towards the 21 SMA located around the 1/8 Murray level in the coming hours, this is seen as an opportunity to resume long positions. Hence, we could buy with a target of the psychological level of $110,000. The 2/8 Murray level at $106,250 represents strong resistance, so we believe Bitcoin may struggle to continue rising, and we could expect a technical correction in the coming hours towards …

Early in the US session, gold is trading around 4,098 with bullish momentum and is likely to continue rising in the coming hours to fill the gap left on October 24th around 4,114. Gold could encounter strong weekly resistance around 4,103. If it fails to consolidate above this area, we could expect a technical correction. The instrument could reach the 6/8 Murray level around 4,062 and even the bottom of the ascending trend channel formed since early November around 4,035. In the coming days, gold is expected to reach the 7/8 Murray level at 4,250. This level is key, as gold could encounter strong resistance around this point, and we could expect a technical correction be…

The political gridlock has finally broken. The US Congress has officially voted to reopen the federal government, providing an immediate positive catalyst for equities that is erasing the market blues of the past week. The longest-ever government shutdown initially had a muted impact, but as its consequences—such as delays in key economic data, reduced flights, and halted essential functions—began to accumulate, markets took a noticeable negative turn last week. However, the Senate's decisive vote on a compromise bill, which saw moderate Democrats break with their party leadership to make key concessions (such as securing a future vote on extending healthcare subsidies)…

Arthur Hayes says Zcash is now his second-largest liquid holding after Bitcoin, and the market took notice. The BitMEX co-founder shared the update on X late Friday. He said his family office, Maelstrom, now holds more ZEC than anything else except Bitcoin. According to the tracker, the whale sent $6.27 million to Hyperliquid and placed a limit-long order for 20,800 ZEC, worth approximately $ 12.12 million. As the market moved higher, the trader’s position briefly showed approximately $1.51 million in unrealized gains. They later closed the trade and walked away with roughly $1.25M in profit. Futures activity also picked up. CoinGlass data shows Zcash open intere…

US President Donald Trump’s latest promise of a tariff-funded “dividend” sent shockwaves through markets Monday, and traders in digital assets moved quickly to price in the possibility of extra cash in American pockets. The plan would pay at least $2,000 to most adults and has been described as part of a broader push to use tariff receipts for direct payments. Tariff Dividend Sparks Market Moves According to reports, the proposal is being presented as a way to convert tariff revenue into direct payments to citizens, with proponents linking the move to stronger consumer spending and higher risk appetite among investors. Trump said the government could afford the new pa…

GBP/USD Analysis on 5M The GBP/USD currency pair continued its weak upward movement, with minimal volatility, on Monday, testing the Senkou Span B line. The bounce off this strong and important line provoked a slight decline in the pair during the latter half of the day. Thus, at this time, we cannot confidently state that the local downward trend is complete. The same picture is observed with the euro currency; the price also failed to breach the Senkou Span B line on the first attempt. In both cases, a breach of the Ichimoku cloud on the 4-hour timeframe is required to expect an upward trend. The British pound also has a trendline that needs to be surpassed. The mac…

EUR/USD is trading around 1.1555, above the 21-period SMA, with a positive bias. In the coming hours, we could expect a technical correction towards the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level around 1.1530. This level is key, as the euro could find strong support around 1.1530 to 1.1545. Should the price consolidate above this area, it could be seen as an opportunity to resume buying, with targets at the 7/8 Murray level at 1.1596, and potentially even reaching the 8/8 Murray level at 1.1718. If EUR/USD remains below 1.1530, it could be seen as a continuation of the bearish cycle, potentially reaching the 6/8 Murray level around 1.1474. The euro has the potential to continue r…

Trade Analysis for Monday: 1H Chart of the EUR/USD Pair The EUR/USD currency pair traded mostly sideways on Monday and failed to break past the important level of 1.1584. In principle, not much was expected from Monday. The macroeconomic background was completely absent in all the countries of interest, and Donald Trump's morning promises to soon end the "shutdown" did not catch anyone's interest. The market did not experience euphoria over the conclusion of the "shutdown," just as it had ignored the "shutdown" for a month and a half. Recall that over the past month and a half, the U.S. currency had been rising moderately, which contradicted the fundamental backdrop…

Trade Analysis for Monday: 1H Chart of the GBP/USD Pair The GBP/USD pair attempted to continue its upward movement from recent days on Monday, but overall, it moved sideways more than up. This is not surprising, as no significant news became available to traders on Monday. Of course, the news about the possible end of the "shutdown" can be considered "important," but let's remember that the "shutdown" is not yet over, and what is being discussed is a temporary truce between the Democrats and Republicans and temporary funding for the U.S. government and its services. As early as next year, America could very well face a new "shutdown" if the Democrats and Republicans …
