Despite what is akin to a bull market with the Bitcoin price hitting multiple new all-time highs, the Ethereum price continues to hit major resistances in its campaign for new highs. The most recent is the resistance push at the $3,800, which perfectly aligns with the 4-year resistance line that has kept the leading altcoin by market cap from hitting new all-time highs. However, as Ethereum once again gears up for a retest, this time could be the chart that signals the breakout. Ethereum On The Verge Of Breakout Crypto analyst MMCrypto highlighted a possible breakout on the Ethereum price chart after the altcoin moved back toward a 4-year resistance trendline. This trend…

Bitcoin has broken down from the two-week consolidation range that held the market between $115,724 and $122,077, reaching a new local low near $114,000. The drop confirms a shift in short-term momentum, putting bulls on the defensive. The $117,000 level—previously a key support zone—now serves as the immediate resistance that must be reclaimed to signal a possible reversal. The breakdown comes at a critical time, as sentiment across the market begins to shift. According to fresh data from CryptoQuant, futures sentiment turned bearish today, falling sharply before bouncing back slightly to 48%. While still close to neutral, any reading below 50% signals bearish dominanc…

The long-running legal saga of Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon, the man once hailed as a “crypto genius” and later vilified as the architect of one of the industry’s largest financial catastrophes, may finally be approaching its endgame. Tomorrow morning, a U.S. federal court in New York will convene to determine whether Kwon will change his plea to guilty on fraud and market manipulation charges linked to the $40 billion implosion of TerraUSD (UST) and Luna. If confirmed, this would mark a dramatic reversal from Kwon’s previous stance, and could lock in one of the most significant criminal convictions in crypto history after years of drama. How Do Kwon Went From Cry…

Ethereum has once again taken center stage in the crypto market after surging to a new all-time high above the $4,900 level on Sunday. The rally, which pushed ETH into uncharted territory, highlighted the strength of bulls after weeks of steady institutional accumulation and market momentum. However, the price did not hold these highs for long. Ethereum has since retraced, dropping back to the $4,600 region, where bulls are now attempting to establish support before the next move higher. This pullback has sparked debate among analysts. Some view the retracement as a sign of a potential local top, cautioning that ETH may require a period of consolidation before another b…

Commander Bobo, the time has come to execute order $66k. “It will be done, Lord Bogdanoff…” Okay, all jokes aside, is BlackRock Bitcoin Holdings planning a secret coup? The launch of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) has transformed the market, giving institutional investors an on-ramp into the once retail-led ecosystem. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is at the center of this shift, which now manages more than 781,000 BTC—about $88 billion in assets. That’s nearly 6.5% of ETH ▼-4.19% circulating supply locked into a single vehicle, surpassing the reserves of many major exchanges. Net inflows into IBIT have consistently outpaced rival products, cementing Bla…

Bitcoin is currently consolidating within a narrow range, trading below the $115,000 level while holding key support above $110,000. This consolidation reflects the ongoing tug-of-war between bulls and bears, as volatility continues to push the market in both directions. Despite the temporary stability, recent price action shows that selling pressure has gained a slight edge, leaving traders cautious about the next major move. Top analyst Darkfost has highlighted an important on-chain development that adds context to this phase. According to an article published on 3 May 2025 by Reuters, Coinbase had known about the data leak since January. Solana (SOL) continues to face resistance at the $160 level, failing to reclaim it despite multiple attempts over the past several days. As market momentum weakens and volatility rises, investors are growing cautious. Bitcoin and Ethereum—typically leading indicators—are also showing signs of exhaustion, unable to break past their recent highs. This has triggered concerns that a broader market retrace could follow. Still, not all analysts are turning bearish. Prominent trader Kaleo shared a bullish technical outlook, suggesting that Solana remains one of the most promising altcoins if the crypto market regains strength. According to Kaleo, if momentum returns and the ma…

Premier American Uranium (TSXV: PUR) agreed to buy Nuclear Fuels Inc. (CSE: NF) to create one of the largest US uranium explorers. Shares of both companies climbed. Nuclear Fuels shareholders will receive 0.33 of a common share of Premier American for each share held, the companies said Thursday in a joint statement. This implies a payment of about C$0.43 per share, which would value Nuclear Fuels at about C$42 million ($31 million). The implied equity value of the combined company is estimated at about C$102 million, Premier American said. Adding Nuclear Fuels, which is advancing the pre-resource Kaycee uranium project in Wyoming’s Powder River basin, would help …

What does crypto want to be when it grows up? Centralized exchanges like Coinbase have long marketed themselves as crypto’s answer to convenience. User-friendly, regulated, and custodial. Just give them the keys and let them drive. They’ll handle all the boring details – like on/off ramps, UI, integrated swapping, and little things like taking control of your crypto. And in return, all you need to do is trust. But increasingly, that deal sounds like a bad one. The trade-off between trust and control is no longer worth it. Trust Coinbase and other custodial platforms too much, and what do you get? Hacks and data breaches, among other things. There’s a better path forwar…

“PEPE is showing strength after a clean breakout above the key resistance zone,” UniChartz shared in a recent post on X, highlighting a decisive shift in the meme coin’s short-term momentum. The breakout reflects renewed buying pressure as the price pushed beyond a major barrier that had previously capped upside moves. PEPE Finds Its Footing at Strong Confluence Zone The analyst further noted that PEPE is now “in the process of retesting that breakout level,” calling it “a classic bullish confirmation if the zone holds.” This retest phase is a critical moment; if bulls successfully defend the newly formed support zone, it could open the door for another leg higher. Over…

Klaas Knot, the outgoing head of the Financial Stability Board, has a message for the global finance world: keep your eyes on stablecoins. Speaking at a recent event in Madrid, Knot said we’re edging toward a point where crypto markets and traditional finance are so intertwined that a crack in one could rattle the other. Crypto Is Sneaking Into the Mainstream Knot isn’t panicking, but he’s definitely concerned. Right now, crypto doesn’t pose a direct threat to global financial stability. But the walls separating crypto from the rest of the financial system are getting thinner. And fast. Take stablecoins. These digital assets are pegged to real-world currencies, usua…

Leachings from historic coal mines in southwest Alberta could poison and even kill off downstream fish populations, according to a new scientific study released as a Calgary-based explorer seeks to drill for coal in the region. The Alberta government scientific study, published on May 27, points to the element selenium, which is released from weathered rock discarded from mountaintop coal mines and can be poisonous when it accumulates in fish. Runoff from Crowsnest Pass, about 240 km south of Calgary, and where about 30 million tonnes of coal was mined by several companies from 1900 to 1968, enters the Crowsnest River watershed. Runoff from the old Tent Mountain …
