Markets had been enjoying from renewed positive sentiment after the US intervened in the Israel-Iran conflict which led to the reaching of a ceasefire agreement. The news sent Equities booming higher after a choppy past two weeks. The Nasdaq reached new all-time highs on Wednesday and the S&P 500 joined its tech-focused brother just yesterday – Both indices had been pursuing their bullish impulses before this early afternoon's change in mood. Donald Trump just announced that he is cancelling trade talks with Canada and the resumption of trade sanctions on Iran, sending stock markets b…

Ethereum has finally touched the $3,000 price level once again after spending weeks trading in a narrow range beneath $2,800. This recent breakout, although brief, marks the first time Ethereum reclaimed this level since early February. According to technical analyst Merlijn The Trader, Ethereum’s next destination after breaking past $3,000 is already in sight. Bull Flag Breakout Points To Measured Move For Ethereum Ethereum went through an interesting rally last week alongside Bitcoin’s push to new all-time highs. However, this Ethereum price rally, which saw it touch $3,000 again, wasn’t based on momentum spillover from Bitcoin alone. This is because Ethereum itself e…

According to market analyst Common Sense Crypto, a $1,000 bet on XRP today could turn into between $10,000 and $50,000 during this cycle. He pointed out that the same stake in Bitcoin would likely top out at around $1,300–$1,500. That claim has caught the eye of many investors who are weighing where to put their crypto dollars. Strong ROI Comparison Common Sense Crypto ran the numbers. At XRP’s current price of $3.18, a $1,000 buy-in nets roughly 315 tokens. To hit $10k, each XRP would need to trade at $31.80. If XRP somehow climbed to $160, that small stake would swell to $50k. By contrast, a $1k purchase of Bitcoin at $120,000 today would only need BTC to rise to ab…

On-chain data shows old XRP tokens have been moving back into circulation recently, a potential sign that long-term holders have been taking profits. XRP Mean Dollar Invested Age Has Seen A Drop Recently According to data from the on-chain analytics firm Santiment, the XRP network has seen signs of movement from veteran hands. Two key metrics highlight this trend: Mean Dollar Invested Age and Age Consumed. The first of these, the Mean Dollar Invested Age, keeps track of the average age (in days) of every dollar invested into the cryptocurrency. The ‘age’ of a coin or the USD value invested in it is tracked from the point of the coin’s last transaction. For example, if …

Data shows the Bitcoin Coinbase Premium Gap recently broke its longest ever streak of positive values. Here’s what this could mean for the market. Bitcoin Coinbase Premium Gap Turned Negative Recently In a new post on X, CryptoQuant community analyst Maartunn has talked about the recent trend in the Bitcoin Coinbase Premium Gap. The “Coinbase Premium Gap” refers to an indicator that keeps track of the difference between the BTC price listed on Coinbase (USD pair) and that on Binance (USDT pair). The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has acknowledged a Nasdaq filing proposing an amendment to BlackRock iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA). This proposal seeks to enable the ETF to stake its Ethereum holdings, allowing it to participate in the ETH proof-of-stake consensus mechanism and potentially earn staking rewards. What Happens When Institutional Staking Goes Mainstream? BlackRock just received regulatory acknowledgment to include staking in its Spot Ethereum ETF. As mentioned by Çağrı Yaşar on X, acknowledging the filing isn’t a minor regulatory checkbox. It’s the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) handing institutions a key, and not just to ETH pri…

Bitcoin (BTC) continues to face resistance just under the $120,000 mark, struggling to build enough momentum for a breakout. Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency has remained in a tight trading range above $118,000, representing a slight decline of nearly 4% from its most recent all-time high. Despite the lack of upward movement, analysts suggest that Bitcoin may be entering a phase of energy consolidation rather than signaling an imminent downturn. According to data from CryptoQuant, two separate market analysts have shared their perspectives on BTC’s current cycle, focusing on long-term valuation metrics and investor activity patterns that could influence the ne…

The Japanese yen is in negative territory on Tuesday. In the European session, USD/JPY is trading at 147.74, up 0.45% on the day. BoJ minutes: BoJ will hike as inflation, growth increase The Bank of Japan minutes from the June policy meeting were somewhat dovish, but the yen has still headed lower today. The minutes indicated that most BoJ members favored keeping interest rates unchanged, since there were downside risks to Japan's economy due to US tariffs. Still, Governor Ueda and most members support further rate hikes down the road, provided that inflation and growth continue to increase in line with the BoJ projections. This stance was reiterated at last week's …

In August 2024, Leland King Fawcette sold his TROLL holdings for approximately $1,300. At the time, the Solana meme coin had barely moved, and it looked like just another throwaway token. Fast forward to today, and TROLL’s market cap has exploded past $158 million. If he had held on, his bag could have been worth more than $36 million. Bought for the Hype, Sold Before the Price Explosion Fawcette says he picked up TROLL with plans to promote it through a few influencer campaigns. But after a few days of silence and no price action, he decided it wasn’t going anywhere. The project seemed dead in the water, so he sold and moved on. At the time, the token was barely scrapin…

After the brief surge that followed the Ripple lawsuit’s conclusion, traders say momentum quickly faded. Bitcoin slid to around $114,000, and with it, XRP touched $2.94. That dip dragged the token under $3 once again, sparking fresh arguments between those who see a buying chance and those who remain skeptical. Analyst Frames Dip As Opportunity According to comments from Coach JV, a well-known XRP advocate, the return to sub-$3 levels should be seen as a chance to buy. He called XRP under $3 “a massive blessing.” He told followers that most people panic when prices fall, while patient investors buy slowly over time. He used a farming image to make the point: Peopl…

Log in to our mid-week North American Markets overview where we look at the NA Indices and currencies. This week has started on a decent geopolitical background: The war in Ukraine might be getting closer to a truce. Indeed, the US regained some strength and credibility on the diplomatic front after successively hosting Russia’s Putin, the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, and a coalition of EU leaders on the same day. Donald Trump sent some contradicting diplomatic messages at the beginning of his mandate, but looking back, it seems that the publisher of “The Art of the Deal” had more in mind: The US President keeps surprising public opinion despite still making headline…

After months of underperforming compared to BTC USD, Ethereum crypto is now in focus. Not only has it been resilient, absorbing selling pressure, but after the disappointment in H1 2025, the coin is on the cusp of breaking 2021 highs. At spot rates, ETH USD is trading above $4,500 after surging to over $4,900 over the weekend. Although prices were rejected and fell to current levels, the uptrend remains. From the daily chart, BTC USD has found key support around the $110,000 level. Notably, the drop seen in the past few hours today is a continuation of the sell-off posted on August 24, when bears completely reversed the gains of August 22. Technically, as long as BTC USD…
