Return Of Rare Divergence Pattern On Bitcoin’s 4H Chart Crypto analyst Luca (@CrypticTrades_) took to social media platform X to share a chart that highlights an important technical development on Bitco…

An analyst has explained how Ethereum could be eyeing $10,000 next, if it manages to break past the resistance line of this technical analysis pattern. Ethereum Is Nearing A Retest Of This Resistance Line In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez has talked about how ETH is looking from the perspective of a technical analysis (TA) pattern. The pattern in question is a Parallel Channel, which forms whenever an asset’s price witnesses consolidation between two parallel trendlines. There are a few different types of Parallel Channels, but the one of interest in the current discussion is the variant that has its trendlines parallel to the time-axis. This type appears when t…

Bitcoin continues to consolidate between $115,000 and $120,000, with bulls maintaining control despite the lack of a breakout above $123,000. What stands out in this range-bound structure is the clear demand concentration around $117,000. According to Glassnode’s BTC Cost Basis Distribution Heatmap, this level has consistently attracted buying interest, acting as a key area where capital rotates into Bitcoin. The heatmap reveals dense clusters of cost basis activity near key price levels. This reinforces its role as short-term support and a psychological anchor for bulls. As long as this zone holds, the risk of a full breakdown remains limited—even as BTC struggles to r…

Europe’s top central bank is firm on one thing: banknotes aren’t going anywhere. On Monday, ECB Executive Board member Piero Cipollone vowed that euro coins and bills will remain at the heart of payments, even as Brussels moves ahead with plans for a state-backed digital euro. He warned that without a public digital option, privately issued stablecoins could gain too much ground—especially in cross-border transfers. ECB’s Cash And Digital Push According to a blog post by Cipollone, the digital euro will sit alongside physical money, not replace it. He wrote that cash and digital euros, both with full legal tender status, will give consumers more choice. Reports have d…

The United States has begun talks with the Cook Islands for research on seabed mineral exploration and development, just months after the South Pacific nation inked cooperation pacts with China that included undersea mining. Crypto analyst Astronomer (@astronomer_zero) says his long-standing bottom thesis on the ETH/BTC pair has played out and published explicit cycle targets anchored to the cross. In a chart shared on X, he reiterated that “ETH bottom call” is in and framed the roadmap entirely through ETH/BTC levels rather than ETH/USD, arguing that Ether’s outperformance typically follows Bitcoin’s impulse and that “all major liquidity comes from BTC.” How High Can Ethereum Go This Cycle? Astronomer’s post centers on a multi-month “zone” on ETH/BTC that he had marked in advance as a potential cyclical inflection. He writes that the call looked “delusional” when first drawn—“a ‘ridiculousl…

The crypto market has been rocked by a wave of liquidations totaling nearly $808 million in the past 24 hours, with Bitcoin (BTC) dipping below the critical $110,000 threshold. This mass sell-off erased nearly all gains sparked by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s dovish comments at Jackson Hole just days earlier, leaving investors questioning whether the dip signals opportunity, or danger. Bitcoin Flash Crash Triggers Massive Liquidations Data from CoinGlass shows that long positions accounted for $696 million of the $112 million liquidated, underscoring how overleveraged bullish traders were caught off guard. Bitcoin alone saw $272 million liquidated, while Ethe…

Overview: After yesterday's pullback, the US dollar has rebounded. It is trading its best level against several of the G10 currencies since Fed Chair Powell spoke at Jackson Hole before the weekend. Most emerging market currencies are weaker, too, with the notable exception of the pegged Hong Kong dollar, and the Thai baht. The PBOC set the dollar's reference rate at a new low for the year, but the greenback is firmer against both the onshore and offshore yuan. Washington's extra 25% levy on India for buying Russian oil went into effect today but Indian markets are closed for a national holiday. China and Hong Kong indices were off more than 1% amid profit-taking. Europe…
