Dundee Precious Metals (TSX: DPM) has the full go-ahead to proceed with its Loma Larga underground gold project after the government of Ecuador granted the company its environmental licence for exploitation. In a press release Monday, the Toronto-based Dundee said the Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition (MAATE) issued the licence on June 23 following a “rigorous process” by the Ecuadorian government. The licence issuance follows the company’s successful completion of the indigenous consultation process earlier this year, as well as its fulfilment of the August 2023 ruling by the provincial court of Azuay, where the project is located. The liquidity engine that has supported risk assets, including Bitcoin, since the beginning of 2025 is now shifting into reverse. According to macro analyst Tomas (@TomasOnMarkets), the six-month upswing in Federal Reserve liquidity has ended, and a potentially destabilizing wave of debt issuance by the US Treasury is about to begin. In a post published on X late Sunday, Tomas warned: “ Federal Reserve Liquidity set to fall… The Fed liquidity upswing that began on January 1 2025 is now over.” Bitcoin Enters Danger Zone The catalyst behind this reversal is the recent $5 trillion debt ceiling increase passed by Congress last week. That legislative decision gives the Treasu…

Based on reports from the trading account Bitcoinensus on X, PEPE has formed a pattern that led to a 10x rally in the past. Now, some chart watchers believe a similar move could push prices even higher—possibly up to 20X the current level. Flag And Breakout Signals Drive Hope Traders spot a “flag” shape when price moves sideways after a drop and rise. Bitcoinensus pointed out that PEPE first formed one flag, then shot up from about $0.0000015 to $0.000015—a roughly 10x gain. The chart showed a second flag forming recently, and if PEPE breaks out again, it could mirror that earlier surge. Based on reports, a fresh breakout might send PEPE toward a 20X move from today’s …

The British pound continues to have a quiet week. In the European session, GBP/USD is trading at 1.3530, down 0.30% on the day. UK economy contracts in MayThe UK wrapped up the week on a down note, as GDP contracted in May by 0.1% m/m. This followed a 0.3% decline in April and missed the consensus of 0.1%. The decline was driven by a 1% decline in manufacturing and a 0.6% contraction in construction, which cancelled out a 0.1% expansion in services. The GDP contractions in April and May point to a weak second quarter of growth, after an impressive 0.7% gain in the first quarter. The economic landscape remains uncertain and the Bank of England has projected weak growth of …

Tomorrow’s July 15th Consumer Price Index inflation report has built some anticipation in the past week as markets try to cover some of their Dollar-selling positions, which took the Dollar Index to 96.50 lows on July 1st. Since then, positive US Job reports and another leg of the tech-AI boom have brought the USD back to the 98.00 handle, where Markets are close to trading. Nasdaq is again very close to record highs, and the S&P 500 is doing the same. Only the Dow Jones has been lagging on this move, based on the structural reshaping towards Tech, particularly in the past week: Bitcoin rallied consequently to new highs (around $123,200), and NVIDIA passed $4 trilli…

Veteran investor Robert Kiyosaki has sounded a stark warning for markets that have just seen Bitcoin hit a fresh all‑time high of $123,000. According to Kiyosaki, long‑running bubbles in the US economy are primed to burst, and Bitcoin could slide right along with stocks and bonds. The cryptocurrency is already off its peak, trading past the $118,000 mark after profit‑taking by long‑term holders. Major Debt And Sticky Inflation Based on reports, the US national debt has climbed to over $36 trillion, a level few would have imagined a decade ago. At the same time, June’s Consumer Price Index shows inflation isn’t cooling as fast as hoped. Those figures have left many in…

Rare earth magnets are vital for electric vehicles (EVs), wind turbines, and advanced technologies—and demand is rising fast. Currently, EVs and wind account for just 17% of global magnet use. But by 2030, that share could jump to 42% to stay on track for Net Zero by 2050. EVs alone are expected to drive 22% of this demand, overtaking wind. This infographic by MINING.COM and The Northern Miner highlights the key rare earth metals for magnets—neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, and terbium—and the growing need to secure their supply. Watch: In this 18-minute presentation at the CentralMinEX conference in Newfoundland, TNM Group President Anthony Vaccaro exami…

Overview: The foreign exchange market is quiet. The greenback is narrowly mixed against the G10 currencies. Leaving aside thinner traded New Zealand dollar and Norwegian krone, the other currencies are mostly +/- 0.1%. Emerging market currencies are also mixed and mostly +/- 0.2%. The approaching August 1 expiration of the postponement of US "reciprocal tariffs" casts a pall of anxiety over the markets and spurs hope of last-minute deals. Asia Pacific equities today featured the return of Tokyo markets from a long-holiday weekend. Japanese equity indices were little changed, while China and Hong Kong extended their recent gains. South Korea and Taiwan's main indices fell…

The week has been calm in terms of economic data releases and despite the ongoing Earnings season, Markets have been looking for headlines. And headlines they received! TRON (TRX) has experienced a steady upward price movement alongside broader market gains. Over the past week, the asset has climbed over 5%, recently crossing the $0.31 mark and currently trading around $0.3132. One of the more notable observations comes from on-chain analyst Maartunn, who shared his latest insights on CryptoQuant’s QuickTake platform. His focus centers on the Spot Taker CVD (Cumulative Volume Delta) metric, a tool that tracks the net difference between market buys and sells. Spot Taker CVD Signals Buyer Dominance Ac…

In 2025 the 60‑day rollover rule remains a crucial regulation for retirement savers moving funds between qualified accounts without incurring taxes or penalties. Under this rule an account owner who receives a distribution from a traditional IRA 401(k) or similar tax‑deferred plan must redeposit the full amount, including any withheld taxes, into another eligible retirement account within sixty days to maintain tax‑deferred status. Failing to meet this deadline results in the withdrawal being treated as taxable income and, for those under age fifty nine and a half, subject to a ten percent early withdrawal penalty. Indirect rollovers, sometimes viewed as short‑term liqui…

Today's session is seeing some recovery flows form the catastrophic Equity performance after Friday's NFP miss. The session is empty of any major economic release and for now, the lack of geopolitical influences and continuation from Friday's risk-off moves has helped mean-reverters to bring some buying in Equities. Our analysis from Friday pointed towards prices touching the lower bound of the upward channel in Nasdaq for example and the index is actually leading its US peers (currently up +1.40%) as tech shines again in today's session, led by Microsoft and Nvidia. The Dow Jones is also up above 1% as we speak but testing some key levels. Let's take a look at these …

British Columbia has approved Imperial Metals’ (TSX: III) plan to deepen and extend the Springer pit at the Mount Polley copper-gold mine, adding about eight more years. The decision comes after an August court ruling that upheld key permits challenged by an area First Nation. The consent order from Environment and Parks Minister Tamara Davidson, and Mining and Critical Minerals (MCM) Minister Jagrup Brar, lets the expansion move forward under a provincial Mines Act permit amendment. “We agree that any changes to the effects from the proposed Springer Expansion assessed under the Act would not be significant,” the ministers said in their reasons for the decision p…
