The ADA price is bleeding, development is accelerating, and all of this feels like a pivotal moment. WTF should you do?

ADA spent 2025 on the wrong side of BTC/altcoin rotation. The lone bright spot was Midnight, Cardano’s privacy-focused sidechain, which was launched and immediately drew serious demand.

NIGHT surged out of the gate with its launch on December 8, flirting with a $1 Bn valuation, and secured listings across major exchanges.

Additionally, in other positive news for ADA, interoperability rumors have picked up. Ripple CTO David Schwartz publicly acknowledged Midnight’s design, following earlier comments from Charles Hoskinson suggesting the sidechain could eventually support XRP-related DeFi activity.

No partnership is confirmed, but the signaling alone reflects a broader shift toward pragmatic cross-chain alignment across legacy ecosystems.

The Bad News: ADA Price Technicals Show a Market on a Knife’s Edge

Technically, ADA is compressing between $0.35 and $0.38.

The supertrend is near $0.415, RSI can’t clear 50, and Chaikin Money Flow is leaking just enough to show buyers aren’t committed.

The problem is timing. If ADA cannot defend the $0.34 zone, narrative strength, like recent upgrades and Midnight pumping, may not matter in the short term. But if the market stabilizes into 2026 and Midnight proves real usage beyond hype, Cardano could reprice violently higher from deeply compressed levels.

Development keeps rolling forward for Cardano, but besides Midnight, there’s been very little buying momentum for ADA. Our honest advice is ADA is swimming upstream to start 2026, and you shouldn’t expect any surges anytime soon.
