After weeks of compression, the SEI price pushed cleanly above the $0.13 zone and held it, confirming a structural breakout rather than a fleeting bounce. On a technical level, this resembles a classic bull-flag continuation after a rounded base. Volatility is contracting, sellers are finally exhausted – after SEI crashed 71.1% last year -and momentum expanded decisively.

Elon Musk said 2026 will be an amazing year, and I’m inclined to agree.

The reclaim of the 200-day moving average matters for SEI crypto. Once price flips above it and holds, downside risk narrows while upside asymmetry improves. As long as SEI holds the $0.12–$0.122 support band, pullbacks look corrective in the short-term.

According to CoinGecko and DeFi Llama, SEI crossed one million active accounts in December, making it the most active EVM-compatible chain at the time. That level of engagement is difficult to fake and expensive to sustain without real demand.
