Bitcoin hasn't seen any concrete move since last week's all-time highs were hit. Consolidation above all-time highs is typically viewed as a strong signal for potential continuation. It indicates that the market is absorbing higher price levels, with increased trading activity reinforcing acceptance of the new range and paving the way for further upside. Although this acceptance is conditional to prices actually maintaining their newly formed range. Prices recently broke out of the steep ascending trendline that led Bitcoin to its most recent all-time highs, marked at $112,030 on Thursday May 22nd. Dive into a two timeframe technical analysis for the leading cryptocur…

Solana’s out to rebuild a digital empire, and it’s doing it from an office building in Lower Manhattan. Having a physical headquarters might seem a bit counter-intuitive for a company focused on digital assets. But the move is fueling an ongoing shift at Solana Labs, from Solana the meme coin chain to Solana as a serious, ‘Wall-Street-ready’ DeFi chain. The offices opened back in 2023, and Solana Labs uses them as a staging board where potential partners and investors can come visit and chat directly with Solana’s devs. The move is paying off; even as more and more companies adapt a ‘Bitcoin reserve’ strategy to use with $SOL. What does it all mean? Even as Solana take…

Huma Finance is shining. Bitcoin dropped by over $4,000, while meme coins posted double-digit losses. Will the DeFi token extend gains? The past 24 hours have been tumultuous for crypto and Bitcoin holders. Just when traders anticipated a sharp uptick, pushing the digital gold above $110,000, bears intervened with their own plans. Prices crashed by over $4,000, driving Bitcoin toward the psychological $100,000 mark. As expected, the sell-off negatively impacted altcoins, including some of the best Solana meme coins. All top 10 cryptos, except stablecoins, which held steady at $1 as a refuge for cautious traders, posted losses. Solana dropped 3%, with weekly losses exc…

Based on reports, a long-dormant Bitcoin whale made a surprise move this week, snapping up 250 BTC for about $26.37 million. It’s the first time this wallet has shown activity in two years. The purchase has stirred talk among traders and on-chain analysts alike. Some see it as a sign that big players are getting ready for more action in the weeks ahead. Whale Returns After Two Years According to Lookonchain data, the same whale pulled 500 BTC out of Gemini back in 2022 when Bitcoin was trading near $27,400, a move worth nearly $14 million at the time. Now, with BTC hovering around $105,000, the whale’s holdings sit on an unrealized gain of over $39 million. That kind …

Bitcoin may be gearing up for a renewed surge, but according to trader Josh Olszewicz, the bullish setup is walking a macroeconomic tightrope—and one wrong move could send everything tumbling. In his June 16 “Macro Monday” update, Olszewicz laid out a broad-based technical and macroeconomic case for why BTC is holding firm near all-time highs, while warning that the market’s resilience is underpinned by a single, fragile macro factor: liquidity. $150K Bitcoin? Only If Powell Doesn’t Pull The Plug “Crypto clearly doesn’t care. Legacy clearly doesn’t care,” Olszewicz said, referring to the continued rally in risk assets despite no rate cuts from the Federal Reserve. “Both …

No topic is more contentious in crypto than Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). In just 12 months, the number of countries exploring a central bank digital currency has ballooned from around 35 to at least 81, and likely higher as new data confirms 134 nations are now looking into digital currencies covering 98% of global GDP. Here’s where they’re going next: What Exactly Are CBDCs? Why Central Banks Are Rushing In CBDCs are essentially digital versions of your local cash, issued directly by a country’s central bank. Unlike cryptocurrencies, they carry none of the decentralization magic and are fully under government control. You won’t pay extra service fees, tr…

The weekly opened had seen the US Dollar retreat but one ongoing theme is of an overdone USD selling – With war headlines coming out by the minute, the Dollar Index has failed to break new lows and is making its way to the 99.00 pivot zone. Jerome Powell is currently speaking at the FOMC Rate Decision Press Conference. This nice chart offered by Bank of America in their latest Global Funds Manager Survey shows how positioning is changing – Reminder that it's more an opinion from the Funds Managers than numbers, as global exposure to USD assets is still massive. Karelian Diamond Resources (AIM: KDR) says it has identified a “significant new copper target” within the recently awarded KDR4 licence area in Northern Ireland. According to the diamond miner, the licence covers an area with documented historical mining activity and geological indicators that it believes to be favourable for copper mineralization. The copper target was identified following initial desk-based studies and reconnaissance work on the area, which highlighted the site of the historic Cappagh copper mine as a potential exploration focus. The potential copper discovery, says Karelian, would complement the nickel-copper-PGE (platinum group elements) a…

Ethereum has hit two major milestones that speak volumes about how committed its community has become. Over 35 million ETH are now locked in staking contracts, a new all-time high, and 22.8 million ETH are being held by wallets that have shown no signs of selling. Both figures show a maturing network where short-term price swings are no longer the only story. This Ethereum staking all-time high also means there’s less ETH available to trade, which could affect the price later. Nearly 30 Percent of ETH Supply Is Now Locked According to CryptoQuant data, more than 500,000 ETH were deposited into staking in just the first half of June. That pushed the total staked amount …

After rebounding from a local bottom of around $75,000 in April, Bitcoin (BTC) appears to be stuck in the $100,000 to $110,000 range, showing little indication of a clear directional trend. One key data point reflecting this indecision is Bitcoin’s network volume. Bitcoin Network Volume Stuck In Balance Zone According to a recent CryptoQuant Quicktake post by contributor AxelAdlerJr, Bitcoin’s network volume has stabilized in a state of ‘stable equilibrium,’ reminiscent of the mid-2021 consolidation phase that preceded a major move. For the uninitiated, Bitcoin network volume refers to the total value of BTC transferred across the blockchain over a specific period, typ…

Chainlink (LINK) has been locked in a consolidation phase since early March, following a prolonged period of bearish price action that began to lose momentum. Since then, the token has ranged sideways with notable volatility, reflecting broader uncertainty across the altcoin market. However, as Bitcoin pushes toward its all-time high and market sentiment turns increasingly bullish, analysts believe a decisive move from LINK may be imminent. Top analyst Ali Martinez shared insights pointing to a key support level that could determine Chainlink’s short-term trajectory. According to Martinez, LINK holding above the $12 mark is crucial and could serve as the launchpad for a…
